19TH CENTURY FOËNE À ANGUILLES
Wrought iron eel spear. With six pointed round tines from a 'T' shaped bar with a hollow handle. Circa 1850-1900. Mounted on a clear perspex stand.
Origin: Cotentin, Normandy France. The Cotentin peninsular also know as the Cherbourg peninsular and lies on the west coast of France.

Origin: Haut Allier, in the region of Brioude France. This is in the Massif Centrale.
