EARLY 18TH CENTURY FLEMISH VERDURE TAPESTRY
With a richly wooded landscape with trees and flowers. On the left side a chateau with formal grounds and a fountain stand behind a large bird. On the right hand side in the centre there sits a water mill with flowing river to the foreground.
Old repairs throughout. The tapestry is fully backed with linen and ready to hang.
The colours are predominately greens, browns, blues and yellow.
Flanders, early 18th century.
The tapestry is a pair with another in our collection (Ref: 2854 A)
